This application is not an official Minecraft product and is neither approved by nor associated with Mojang.

The app provides a utility for backing up Minecraft PE worlds, specifically those stored on external memory. This feature is designed to help users avoid accidental deletions or loss of their gameplay worlds. Users are encouraged to back up their worlds daily, allowing for restoration in the event of unforeseen issues. The ability to save backups onto a USB key is particularly useful, enabling friends to restore their own copies on separate devices.

Please read the following carefully:

1. Restoration of a world is only possible if a prior backup has been completed. This application serves solely for backup and restore functions, not for recovery.
2. Due to the Android memory model, it is not possible to back up worlds created in the application memory.
3. The application can only back up worlds located in external memory, which can be set in Minecraft under Settings → Profile → File Storage Location by selecting "External." MCPE Backup will show and allow backup for worlds that were created after switching to external memory.
4. Backups are stored in the MCPEBaReSy directory within external memory (including main phone memory, SD card, and any connected USB key). The app requires permission to access this memory upon first launch.

Important: This application permits the deletion and overwriting of existing worlds; users should only proceed if they possess a current backup. Clear prompts will be provided when deleting or restoring worlds.
